Along the way (History) 1987 Foundation of EASY DIVERS Club by Michel Finger from Switzerland. 1987-90 Fun diving and introduction courses with enthusiastic dive mates 1991-92 Moving from Samui to Koh Tao; discovering the local sites as one of the first divers on place. 1993 Back to Samui - Switching from Club style to a professional PADI Dive School with Dive Courses at Lamai Beach. Loriz P. Zingg from Switzerland joines the team. 1994 Opening up the Lamai Beach Booking Office 1995 Foundation of two other companies serving the diving scene: - EASY AQUATOURS offering Dive Cruises in the Andaman Sea - EASY WATERSPORTS supplying Dive Equipment to Pro's and Dive Centers - Introducing daily Dive Tours in the Koh Tao region - PADI issues EASY DIVERS as an official Dive Center and PIRA Member 1996 PADI awards EASY DIVERS as PADI 5 Star Dive Center, due to its very professional service and high quality standard. - EASY DIVERS becomes a prestigous member of TAT (Tourist Authority of Thailand) 1997 Andy Reichhold, Wolfgang and Jeff are joining the succesfull management team - Opening up the Chaweng Beach Dive Center - Opening up the Bophut Beach Dive Center All the current news and happenings you'll find under the monthly updated Dive News chapter!
